- To establish an independent organization for the teachers of Yangon Technological University
- To provide legal assistance for professional and educational rights and privileges
- To Initiate and enhance efforts on behalf of teachers at Yangon Technological University for benefits in accordance with the level of experts, appropriate working conditions, quality research and modern educational resources, best policies and objectives aimed at improving higher education (especially engineering education).
- To act as a teacher representative for teachers from Yangon Technological University for any collective bargaining in dealing with matters such as directives, workplace and other conditions of non-administrative activities.
- To assist the formulation of policies such as general policies and recommendations related to the interests of all teachers
