AIESEC in YTU

Summary of the club

AIESEC in YTU is a local branch of AIESEC. AIESEC is a non-profit organization consisting of youths aged 18-30 and exists in over 100 nations/countries. It improves defined leadership quality from working experience for teenagers and young men. It mainly organizes volunteering and intern exchange programs between local countries and foreign countries. AIESEC members gain personal development from experiences of organizing such programs (events).

Club’s activities and projects

There are 6 departments in AIESEC in YTU

Incoming Global Volunteer: Arrange social projects for foreign young volunteers in local monasteries, youth centers and NGO.

Outgoing Global Volunteer: Arrange social projects for young volunteers in foreign NGO.

Incoming Global Talent: Arrange internships for foreign young people in local companies.

Marketing: Manage social media channels of AIESEC in Myanmar. Make analysis of young people.

Talent Management: Arrange member recruitment, member engagement and member capacity building.

Finance and Legality: Manage financial income and expenditure of above programs. Support to arrange exchange programs in accordance with current policies.

Meetings and programs are held via online during the global pandemic. Video conferences for member engagement, internal fun activity, digital literacy and interpersonal skills training are regularly done (organized). Events and activities (participated) by the club Internal activities like conference & meeting and external activities like Youth Speak Forum and World’s Largest Lesson are organized. Moreover, information booths and sessions related to programs are organized in universities.
