Started officially on 30th October 2018, supported by Japan under the JICA project "Development of a Comprehensive Disaster Resilience System and Collaboration Platform in Myanmar".
It was a collaborative project between the University of Tokyo and YTU under the programme of SATREPS.
Myanmar-Japan Technological Development Center-1 (MJTDC-1), one of the two main research centers of Yangon Technological University was donated by the people of Japan under the management of JICA. The followings are the facilities provided by the center in each floor.
The MJTDC 2 is a three-story building, which is dedicated to the Civil Engineering researches. Both research centers are provided with advanced laboratory equipment. The followings are the facilities provided by the center in each floor.
Technological Research Center is the first research center of Yangon Technological University established in October 2015. The center hosts laboratories concerning Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering and Computer Engineering.
NOKIA and OOREDOO jointly established a 5G technology centre in YTU. The centre is equipped with end-to-end radio, any haul transport and a core network solution compatible with all generations of mobile technology, from 2G to 5G. It was developed together with the University of Oulu in Finland and innovations from Bell Labs.
