The university will be operated by the University Council, the University Senate, and the Administrative Board. They will be responsible for respective permanent committees and will have rights to organize temporary committee if needed.
The University Council is the highest governing body of the university, with a minimum of 25 members and a maximum of 35 members. In accordance with this charter, it has the legal authority to oversee university affairs. Electoral policies and regulations of the nomination for a member of the University Council will be established in the University Regulations. According to the charter and the regulations, the University Council will operate its duties and responsibilities itself, or will delegate to the University Senate and the University Administration Board. However, the following responsibilities must be only decided and conducted by the University Council.
Externals, who are not employees of the University among the members of the Council, can be awarded by the university fund with the decision of the University Council in accordance with the provisions of the University Regulations. The term of office of the members of the Council is five years at a time and shall not exceed two consecutive terms.
The Council is to consider and decide, in accordance with the pr ovisions of YTU Charter, the responsibilities of the Senate and Administrative Board and execute the University's affairs in accordance with the following provisions of YTU Charter.
The University Senate will be leading education affairs of the university and will be accountable to the University Council. The University Senate will be implementing and responsible for learning, quality control, student affairs, examinations and assessments, Research and Development, awarding bachelor's degree, diplomas, external acad emic achievement, examining the degree from another university, Honorary Degree Award, and academic collaboration with local and international universities. The rules and regulation of the foundation of the University Senate, its duties and responsibilities will be enacted in the university regulations.
The University SenateThe Administrative Board will be leading the administrative affairs and will be accountable to the University Council. The Administrative Board will be implementing and responsible for, finance, staff affairs, disciplinary committee, reconstruction and maintenance, greening, cleaning, security, shop placement, housing for teachers and staff; health and sports issues, telecommunications, and ceremonies. The rules and regulation of the foundation of the administrative body, its duties and responsibilities will be enacted in the university regulations.
