Yangon Technological University Students' Union Organizes Engaging Activities at Spring Library (2)

YANGON, MYANMAR – The Yangon Technological University Students' Union (YTUSU) recently spearheaded a series of enriching activities for children at Spring Library (2) in Kareni State throughout September 2024. These initiatives aimed to foster a love for reading, encourage creativity, and provide engaging recreational opportunities for young learners in the community.

The program featured two key events. On September 1, 2024, a vibrant reading circle and games session was held, attracting 13 enthusiastic participants. Children were invited to delve into their favorite books, share their discoveries with peers, and subsequently participate in enjoyable group games, promoting both literacy and social interaction.

Following this, on September 15, 2024, a creative cartoon portrait drawing session took place, with 6 children in attendance. This activity was specifically designed to stimulate the children's imaginative and artistic abilities, encouraging them to select and replicate their beloved cartoon characters on paper.

These successful events underscore the commitment of the Yangon Technological University Students' Union to community engagement and the holistic development of children. By providing access to literature and creative outlets through the Spring Library (2), the YTUSU continues to make a positive impact on the local youth.
