Studio Bagan Summer School

In collaboration with Brandenburg University of Technology and DAAD German Academic Exchange Service, Yangon Technological University- University Council will open the one-month STUDIO BAGAN Summer School from 6th November to 6th December 2021.

In this program, students studying Architecture, Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, and Heritage Conservation will be able to participate. They must have English language proficiency, Drawing Skills and Design Studio experience.

This program will focus on how to define archeological heritage and to maintain it properly. Lectures by international experts on historical and socio-cultural issues will be included.

The course will also focus on lectures and studio practice activities based on students' personal case studies.

The program, which will feature students from Myanmar and Germany, will be available in online format. Due to the current internet and power outages in Myanmar, online lectures and discussions will be arranged on an individual basis if needed.
