Our Deepest Condolences to the Union Minister H.E U Win Khaing

The Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Win Khaing passed away at Mandalay General Hospital at around 10 pm on November 8. 
After the attempted military coup in 2021, Union Minister U Win Khaing was unjustly detained and given a 28-year prison sentence by the brutal military junta. During detention, he hadn’t received adequate medical treatment. 
The junta has been using the method of not giving required medical care for political prisoners under military detention. This is yet another incident that clearly shows that the terrorist army is deliberately arresting and imprisoning innocent people and leaving them to die without adequate medical treatment. 
We will not be able to forget the incident of U Win Khaing, who was unjustly arrested, imprisoned and tortured until he died. We will always be mindful and remember. We must continue marching until the day when justice can be brought to U Win Khaing and other political prisoners who died without justice.
